Quality Assurance Manager


The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our Quality Assurance Department in a fast paced work environment. Ensuring the department operates with safety as the number one priority is required. This candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, productive, and positive work environment ensuring employee retention.

The ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize both team and personal responsibilities is critical. Strong organization, communication, and relationship building skills is also instrumental in the success of this candidate. This individual must be self-motivated and possess the ability to motivate all team members to their full potential daily.

Hours are Monday-Friday. No weekends!

PAM's Auto is an automotive parts distributor specializing in recycled, new aftermarket, new surplus, and remanufactured parts. Recycling operations consist of processing vehicles that have been considered a total loss through an insurance claim. Our recycled inventory consists of late-model import and domestic car and truck parts. Our new aftermarket, new surplus, and remanufactured inventory consists of multiple part types from body panels to mechanical drivetrain.

Quality Assurance Manager Position Requirements:

  • Attention to Safety
  • 5 years of management experience
  • 5 years of automotive experience
  • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of technology
  • Ability to type 35 WPM
  • Current, valid MN driver's license

Quality Assurance Manger Job Duties:

  • Follow and enforce all safety guidelines. Ensure the safety of all staff, working to always improve our safety culture.
  • Ensure all customers receive a positive customer experience.
  • Ensure department is meeting required daily cutoff times for customer satisfaction.
  • Train, support, motivate, and coach quality assurance staff to ensure success and retention in their role.
  • Ensure all quality assurance staff are following proper procedures, training, and meeting performance requirements.
  • Perform and document employee verbal warnings, written warnings, and reviews.
  • Participate in the hiring and termination process.
  • Facilitate weekly Quality Assurance Department meetings.
  • Communicate with managers and staff from other departments to ensure the quality and accuracy of all parts.
  • Oversee creation of all SpeeDee, UPS, PEP labels, and Bill of Ladings. Ensure company cost requirements are met.
  • Perform freight quotes for sales team including providing freight terminal information.
  • Oversee all facets of our local delivery system.
  • Oversee all facets of new part inventory control.
  • Oversee all facets of the returns process.
  • Ensure organization, cycling of parts, and cleanliness of all warehousing and outside storage.
  • Operate Forklift Safely. Properly train and test staff on forklift operation.
