Inventory Department


The successful candidate will be responsible for full inventory of all fresh arrival vehicles. This includes starting vehicles whenever possible and multiple other part testing procedures. Also, taking pictures and video of vehicles being inventoried. This position requires strong automotiveknowledge, a high attention to detail, and advanced understanding of computers and technology. As this candidate grows in their role, we begin to train in other daily tasks throughout the department.

The candidate will also be responsible for checking in stock orders of new aftermarket and take-off OEM parts. This task is performed in a warehouse environment and requires accurate inspection and grading of the product as well as stocking of the product in our warehouses.

About PAM's Auto

PAM's Auto is an automotive parts distributor specializing in recycled, new aftermarket, new surplus, and remanufactured parts. Recycling operations consist of processing vehicles that have been considered a total loss through an insurance claim. Our recycled inventory consists of late-model import and domestic car and truck parts. Our new aftermarket, new surplus, and remanufactured inventory consists of multiple part types from body panels to mechanical drivetrain.

Inventory Position Requirements:

  • Attention to Safety
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Current, valid MN driver's license
  • Automotive Experience is preferred
  • Understanding of computers and technology
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs

Essential Job Duties for Inventory Staff:

  • Inventory Vehicles using Accu-part Inventory System
  • Inspect, Grade, and Test Parts during inventory process
  • Preliminary recovery of Fluids and Hazardous Materials from Vehicles
  • Remove accessible batteries from vehicles
  • Take pictures and video of vehicle being inventoried
  • Correctly modify and update notes and pricing of Inventoried Parts
  • Identify computers removed from vehicles
  • Inspect stock orders of New Take-Off and Aftermarket Parts
  • Put away stock orders of New Take-Off and Aftermarket Parts
  • Operate forklift safely (training provided)
  • Follow Safety Guidelines
  • Help other employees with tasks
  • Snow removal
