Wheel Grading Standards

Below is how PAM's Auto grades alloy wheels for sale.

We rate our alloy wheels on a percentage system with a grading between 100 percent (New) to 70 percent (Useable and Straight). We save some wheels that are below the 70 percent if there is high demand for them. These wheels will be labeled as PSO or heavily oxidized in the notes section.

We electronic spin balance ALL of our wheels before we ship them. You will not receive any wheel from us that is bent or cannot be balanced.

Below are examples of wheels, the reason they received their grading, and pictures of the damage / wear.

100% - Flawless / as new

Wheels receive this grade when the are as new. Most of the time this is because there were never used and were a spare in the trunk of a vehicle.
We do not have a picture as this grading is not open to
interpretation.

95% - Nearly Flawless

Wheels receive this grade when they are almost as good as new. This wheel would have one imperfection smaller the nickel or multiple flaws that are VERY small.
